The 2015 March of Remembrance in central Houston will be held on Sunday, April 19th, beginning at Rice Temple Baptist Church and ending at Holocaust Museum Houston's Citywide Yom HaShoah commemoration at Congregation Emanu El.

Keynote Speakers

Holocaust survivors, descendants, ministers, and leading Houston government dignitaries.

Opening Ceremony and Prayer Walk
The day of remembrance will begin with an opening ceremony and a prayer march beginning at Rice Temple Baptist Church ending at Holocaust Museum Houston's Citywide Yom HaShoah commemoration at Congregation Emanu El. The first 100 to arrive will receive a commemorative backpack.

​Memorial Service
The Citywide Yom HaShoah Memorial Service will be held at Congregation Emanu El.

(Note: Parking for the event will be at Rice University with shuttle service to the starting point at Rice Temple Baptist Church.)

11:30pm - 12:30pm: Worship, Check-In & Registration.
12:30pm: Opening Ceremony with Holocaust survivors & descendants, Nazi descendants, ministers, and leading Houston government dignitaries.
1:30pm - 3:00pm: The March to Congregation Emanu El.
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Holocaust Museum Houston's Citywide Yom HaShoah Commemoration.
4:00pm - 5:00pm: Fellowship and Refreshments.

* Return Buses from Emanu El back to Start location will be running from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
