Our church invites non-members to participate in all of our services and the acitvities
described on the Ministries page. In addition, many community organizations use our church facilities and they are identified
as described on this page. Where appropriate, website links are provided to obtain more information.
MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers Nurturing
mothers of preschoolers by meeting their distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. Moms learn mothering skills, form friendships,
share problems and concerns, get lots of "warm fuzzies" and support, and experience God's love. Childcare provided.
Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. For more information please call the church office at 713-559-6875.
Electronic Sign The church sign replaced the old manual letter street sign with a color electronic sign in 2005. The ability to represent the Scripture references with better visual appeal and to be more current on event notices has been a major improvement. Our neighborhood presence has been greatly enhanced. HEP - Home Ed Plus Home Ed Plus is an organization which provides group class instruction and special activities for home schooled students. CCSC - Christian Community Service Center The Christian Community Service Center
is an organization of area churches that provides emergency and other services to the poor, hungry, disabled, and needy. Rice
Temple Baptist Church supports CCSC both financially and with volunteers. For more information call 713-961-3993 or visit

Weight Watchers - meets in our Fellowship Hall on Thursday evenings. Local Civic Clubs - have periodic meetings in our facilities. Music - Several music teachers use our facilities for their student lessons and recitals. |
